*About social network friending: on some accounts I friend everyone (like Ravelry), some I'm not on as much (Facebook, Myspace, Plurk) and I don't get email updates for friend requests so the response may be delayed, and on some (like LinkedIn), I only friend people that I know in real life or correspond with online. It's always nice if you let me know how we're acquainted, especially if your username and real name are different. I don't have any auto-friend mechanisms in place but I do occasional sweeps by hand to keep my networks updated.
